I want to start off by absolutely making it clear that Linda is an absolute darling and truly a magician. That really is the best way I can describe it! She managed to pull things off with my hair that nobody else in my quarter-of-a-century on Earth has been able to do. I have no notes for her on literally anything she could improve. From the actual technique, to professional input and even talk-to-silence ratio was pretty damn perfect. For context, I have naturally very thick hair with a texture usually between 2b and 2c. Not the curliest in the world, but way more texture and weight than most of the people I grew up around knew what to do with. Before really becoming an adult I was in a very predictable cycle of growing my hair out, not being able to control it, getting so sick of wearing it up all the time that I just cut it all off (and I do mean all, I have been known to go unpredictably bald). Rinse, repeat. Linda is truly the first stylist I’ve gone to who was not in any way intimidated by my hair, which is a testament to her bravery since I walked in with it frizzy and nearly down to my waist. I also want it to be absolutely and abundantly clear that I am legitimately no help as a client. My entire contribution was 3 un-cropped Pinterest screenshots, a shrug and a credit card. Linda was able to very concisely and intuitively pick up on what I was wanting based off of my clothing and some small consistencies/features of the pictures that I had, and she even walked me through each different product she thought could help make that style more easy for me to maintain on my own. She talked about everything with me and communicated incredibly clearly. As someone who’s autistic I deeply appreciated that, especially since I’ve had my fair share of hair stylists struggle to really explain what and why they went certain directions. As someone on the spectrum I really noted and appreciated that she didn’t try to force conversation. She was absolutely sweet and well spoken when we did speak, but she wasn’t compulsively yelling into my ear while the hairdryer was going the same way I’ve had some other stylists do. She was very observant and I enjoyed getting to see her totally zone in on her work. Linda’s expertise and intuition is remarkable, and I will absolutely be returning to her. Price is my only complaint- and not in the way most people think. Linda 100% should be charging more for the work she did, or if studio determines the price they absolutely need to up what they charge for her. $60 for 2+ hours of very physical work along with her talent and skill is criminally low. I forgot to bring cash with me so I only tipped $20, but for what she did a $100 charge would barely be a fair starting point. I absolutely plan on tipping higher in the future when seeing her because she has absolutely earned it!

Linda was great, taking the time to listen to me and double check we were on the same page. I went from long braids to a short & sassy bob, so it was a drastic change, but I needed to start fresh. I didn’t do any color, but the cut makes my silvers look like highlights and my hair feels healthy again! Thanks Linda!

Evelyn was absolutely outstanding! She truly listened to my requests and made me feel so comfortable. I was nervous going into the appointment since I’m from Florida and was seeing her for the first time for my son’s wedding—but she exceeded all my expectations. She made me feel and look beautiful. My only wish is that she lived in Florida so I could book her again!
